As most of you are probably familiar with by now, whenever there is 3 rounds of 2 things, then 3 rounds of 2 other things, it is always easy to push the pace too early. As we've said before, the second couplet is the workout. The first couplet is the buy-in. Pacing well is one of the greatest skills an athlete can have, yet it's very difficult to do. See what happens if you start WAY slower than you're used to. You might find you can push a little harder at the end . . .
