Always look on the brightside whenever you're faced with ascending reps adjacent to descending reps. So basically, the good news is, at leas on ONE machine, the calories decrease. So yay!! For the bike, that just means you have to take a little slower out the gate. 10 calories is a tempting number to sprint, but don't let it take away from your pace. Find it, settle in, and keep on moving.
